Drivestream Oracle Cloud Security Training is for HESS Cohort Clients only and will be technical in nature. These sessions are primarily for information technology staff but functional department staff are also welcome. Please see below for the download of the Security Training Agenda.
This session will discuss Oracle Security Framework, including:
•Cloud Security Architecture
•Using the Security Console and Oracle Delivered Security Audit Report
•Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) Roles and Customizing Roles
•Requirement/Design of HESS_IR role
•Data Access across the pillar for report writing
•UI access – employee/manager self-service access vs. other view access
•UI access – ERP
•Security Roles’ Impact on Oracle License Audit
•Communication with DS AMS on Post P2T Security Reset in the “T” environment
We will use Drivestream’s demo environment (with common demo data) to illustrate Viewing Functional Security, Viewing Data Security. However, the exercise has to be done in the school’s own dev or test environment.
•The training sessions provide foundational and technical knowledge on Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP Applications and Reporting Security.
•The training will not make trainees experts in the Oracle Cloud technology (Drivestream practitioners have an average of over three years of SaaS practice experience.)
•The training is not about the individual client’s security design. It concerns the standard tools and security roles samples clients can adopt and make their own.
•Training is a continuous exercise, not an overnight activity. We will introduce additional resources in training (Oracle and Drivestream) for clients to seek more information.
•We propose the training over four weeks (late August through mid-September); all cohorts’ clients can participate. The training will be recorded, and the content will be accessible to cohorts’ clients. Additional instructor-led web training of the same content may be scheduled again later if necessary.
